Viper

(View designer's notes)

Viper features a shallow rounded V hull with a pronounced keel line and and a wave piercing bow. Large waterplane areas fore and aft reduce pitching and help increase the hulls Prismatic Coefficient for maximum speed in all conditions. Stability is excellent and wetted surface area is minimised.

The lazy S sheer line rises behind the cockpit to add beam high above the waterline at the deck level to give the best secondary stability in its class. This hull has great surfing potential and resists broaching without affecting manouverability. Panel stiffness of the hull is exceptional thanks to the v hull, softly rounded curves and advanced laminate design.

Viper is a kayak that suits paddlers between 70 and 90 kg. Even though the waterline is narrow there is enough primary stability for paddlers advancing from an entry level boat, and the speed potential for fit strong paddlers to be competitive at the head of any race field.
